Assembling the Hoop:

⚠️ Note: Our hoop size is 5” x 7”. To use this hoop, your design should fit within these dimensions. If the design is larger, you may need to split it into two segments.

1. Separate the hoop components (top and bottom)
2. Then, take the required amount of stabilizer and your desired fabric
1. Generally, thinner fabrics (t-shirt material) requires only one piece of stabilizer
2. Heavier fabrics (bulky sweatshirts) may require two pieces of stabilizer
3. A quick internet search for how much stabilizer to use for your specific fabric will be beneficial to verify how much you need!

💡 If you are using the embroidery machine for the first time or want to test your design, use two pieces of stabilizer OR one piece of stabilizer and scrap fabric. This will allow you to learn how to use the machine and test your design without wasting expensive materials!

1. Sandwich the cloth and stabilizer in between the hoop as shown below:
1. The order of items in the hoop are:
1. Bottom: larger hoop component (the one with the screws)
2. Stabilizer: one or two pieces as needed (based on the thickness of material you are embroidering on! Look it up if you are unsure)
3. Fabric: material that you are embroidering on
4. Top: the square/rectangle piece of the hoop. Make sure that you can see the small arrow on the border. If not, the hoop is on backwards.
1. The arrow on the top piece should line up to the arrow on the bottom piece.
2. Ensure that the stabilizer and fabric is pulled taut
3. Tighten the screw to secure the stabilizer and fabric within the hoop

Place the Hoop into the Machine

1. Orient the hoop so that the metal pegs are on the left side
2. Locate the slots for these pegs on the embroidery attachment
3. CAREFULLY slide the hoop under the needle and slot the pegs into their respective holes on the machine
4. The hoop should be secure once this is done correctly
